If you’ve participated in Project 333, and even if you aren’t dressing with less, you probably know that the best things aren’t things.
While I think I always knew this on some level, a capsule wardrobe and putting an end to shopping for the latest and greatest made it completely obvious.
I’m grateful that I realize the best things aren’t things, so I can completely focus on what really makes life beautiful and joyful. If you want to focus on calm over chaos and joy over stuff and obligation this holiday season, consider what you really deserve.
I have been looking forward to this for months. 31 Days of Gifts You so Deserve is back with all new gifts for December 2013.
The holidays can be a time of crazy, chaotic …
But, with a little purpose and intention, they will be …
I created 31 days to help you fully enjoy the magical month of December and to simply embrace the holiday season. Some of last year’s gifts included dance parties, gingersnaps, snowflakes and superpowers.
This is what people had to say about their 31 gifts from last year …
“These gifts made my holiday season so rich, relaxed and wonderful.”
I subscribed to 31 Days last December and it made such a difference in my holidays. The gentle reminders to slow down, be gentle with myself and others, and to have fun in simple ways all felt very nurturing to my soul. – Julie
I participated in 31 Days last year, and definitely plan to sign up this year, too. It was a lot of fun opening up my “gifts” every morning–I would save them for when the house was quiet so I could properly appreciate them. I liked the playlists the best, but they were all wonderful. – Trisha
Last years 31 Days really did make my holiday season so much better! I especially loved the recipe for the gingerbread cookies with white chocolate frosting – I’m starting to drool just thinking about them. Taking time out each day to do the 31 Days helped me to slow down and enjoy more. – Kat
31 Days of Gifts You so Deserve
I want to help you fully embrace the simplicity and meaning of the holidays with purpose and intention. 31 Days is an advent calendar in your inbox designed to deliver the gifts you so deserve. Gifts like joy, music, solitude, dance parties, gratitude and love notes. Advent calendars are usually 24 days, but I want these 31 gifts to see you into the brand new year.
These gifts will be gentle reminders and joyful recommendations to guide you through December with wonder and simplicity.
Each day, beginning December 1st, you’ll receive your advent gift via email. It will include everything you need to direct 5-10 minutes each day to enjoy and experience this glorious month. Gifts will include audio messages from me, simple tasks for full engagement, music, recipes and more.
Enjoy gifts of music, love, laughter, and silent nights as you move through December with simplicity and grace.
I hope you’ll join me in finding daily holiday goodness through December and take away lessons for the new year.
