Drink Water: mini-mission
Here it is, your first Mini Mission – drink water.
While it is important to stay well hydrated, this Mini Mission is more about getting your day started calmly and gently waking up your digestive system. Each morning, when you get up, before anything else, drink an 8-16oz. glass of room temperature or luke warm water, with or without fresh squeezed lemon juice.
This simple habit will encourage you to start your day with purpose, mentally and physically.

Courtney,
How fascinating. I do drink about 8 – 10 oz of room temp. water in the morning when I first get up. I don’t put lemon in it however.
There are very few people I know (me included for sure) that couldn’t use more structure and discipline in their lives.
From now on I’ll look to this habit as a reminder to that each day is to be lived on purpose both mentally and physically. And, perhaps I’ll go out and buy a few lemons too!
I drink water with my breakfast and then a cup of coffee later on. I drink ice water, however, and I find that it wakes me up almost as well as the coffee!
Such a brilliant idea and so simple and something I need to do and something I don’t do enough of AND an absolutely beautiful picture of water in a glass – is it yours?
So after reading twenty or more of your posts yesterday, today I woke up and drank my glass of water. Though not room temperature, as I really don’t like it, just cold from the fridge. It felt so good. I think I could do this each morning, effortless.
I also decluttered a cupboard and a desk yesterday afternoon. They look so beautifully arranged now! Hopefully I will be doing the same in our kitchen, our bathroom and our bedroom today and tomorrow.
I truly don’t know how I got to your blog, -jumping from link to link, I’m sure, but which one?. What I do know is that I’m grateful I found it and the minimal movement/ way of life. I already subscribed to the ideas of generating less waste (plastic and otherwise), and being happier persons with less stuff. But the tips and guidance you gave were really inspiring. I look forward to reading you more.
Greetings from Argentina.
