I recently hosted a free live webinar to answer questions about Project 333 and dressing with less. The recorded version is available in the Dress with Less course and the Dress with Less private Facebook Group.
The webinar is a great one hour conversation about P333 questions, struggles and living with less. I’m always happy to answer your questions and following are a few that I am asked frequently.
Why 33 items for 3 months? The number is far less important than you might think. I chose 33 because I knew it would test my comfort zone and help me answer the question, “how much is enough?” I chose 3 month seasons that had varying temps. For instance, in my current winter collection, I have 4 or 5 pieces that will be good for traveling to warmer climates or if we get an early spring.
Why are you sharing pictures of your P333 looks? I’m sharing because people used to ask, “Why don’t you share your looks?” I think it’s also helpful to see that while my clothing isn’t remarkable, I can put together many different looks for all occasions with only 33 items. I don’t expect everyone to dress like I do, but want to demonstrate that this might not be as challenging as you think. You see my looks most frequently on Instagram.
Why don’t you share where you buy your clothes or the brands you like? I think that’s a slippery slope. Occasionally I’ll share, but generally I prefer to steer away from recommending brands or specific styles. I’m not married to a specific brand or store and many of my pieces are several years old. And, more importantly, this project will work for any style or lifestyle, so my clothing choices are just one way, and not the best way for everyone.
