If you ever feel like writing a letter to summertime that goes something like, “Dear summer, please slow down,” I know how you feel. I love, love, love summer and want to soak up the joy. Some of that joy is inspired by long, lingering childhood summers, and some of it comes from working to be present and grateful everyday.
Remember when summertime meant long afternoon games of hide and seek, toes in the sand, or chasing the ice cream truck? As adults, we still love summer, but with everything we pile on top of the usual day-to-day busyness on in the name of enjoying the summer, it slips away before we have time to really enjoy it.
If you feel like summer is flying by, or if you are crazy-busy and want to get off the crazy-busy bus to linger a little, it’s time to take back your summer.

I loved spending time with Savor the Summertime. Such a lovely time…I don’t typically sign-up for most of the “courses” offered, but the value to my mind, body, and spirit well exceeded what I spent. Well done and thank you, Courtney. – Happy Camper
