Weekend Wisdom: Create a small routine you can practice every day. It will bring you back to calm.
Remember last week when I said, “It’s been a long week.” Hahahaha! This week we threw in an earthquake just to keep things interesting. I’ll be honest. I panicked. I didn’t know what was happening. From our 5th floor apartment we really felt it. I’m so grateful that my husband stayed calm.
It’s been a couple of days since the earthquake, and I feel calm again. I’m going to double down on everything that fuels that sense of calm including … no Twitter, very little news, noticing beauty around me like the spring flowers above, meditating, taking long walks with my loves and reminding myself that panic causes stress in me and around me. I’ll keep building and sharing calmness instead.
Ok … onto the favorites.
