Weekend Wisdom: Uncertainty makes the simplest things the most meaningful and magical. Give yourself permission to notice and enjoy them.
I’m not ready.
Things are opening up in Salt Lake City and in other places around the world, but I am still closed. I think it’s too soon.
Am I right? I don’t know. I’d like to get my hair cut and meet up with friends for lunch, but for now I’ll wait a little while. Staying still feels like the next right step.
While I’m closed for going out in the world, I’m still open to new ideas. I’ve been dreaming up something new for 2021 (maybe sooner) and in the meantime have decided to open all simplicity courses for whenever you are ready, at least for the next few months instead of waiting until fall. There are a few new things too. Instead of in-person speaking, I’m offering Lunch & Learns for groups and organizations.

This is the sound that love makes.
My weekend has baking this sweet treat written all over it.
This will make you want to write a letter to your best friend.
The brilliant Judy Blume perfectly explains why I burn and shred my journals in this conversation with Cheryl Strayed. I explain more about why I don’t save journals here.
And my Instagram fav of the week is from @chopra. We have so much to learn and that’s a very good thing.
I hope you enjoy this edition of Weekend Favorites and have a beautiful, safe, healthy, loving weekend.
xo,
Courtney
