Things are happening! This month, I’m bringing you …
- 31 Days of Gifts You so Deserve (watch your inbox on Tuesday).
- A new podcast.
- An invitation to join me in January to declutter from the inside out.
- The new Project 333 book page and 15-city tour announcement.
- A brand new website design.
Needless to say, it’s going to be a big month. To avoid over-working and getting overwhelmed, I’m doubling down on my healthy habits, making time for sunsets (and moon gazing) and spending some time by the ocean. Even though it’s going to be a full end to 2019, I want to enjoy it, feel good and have fun sharing these things with you.
Ok … onto the favorites.
I can’t stop watching the Tiny Desk Concerts.
If you are already thinking, “I’ll start next year,” here’s why it’s a terrible idea to put your resolutions on hold.
These holiday spending statistics are horrifying.
I’m usually not a big country music fan but when Norah Jones is involved, I’m here for it.
In the last edition of Weekend Favorites, I shared the holiday movies I watch every year. Many of you responded with your favorites and the one that was most recommended that I left off my list was Love Actually.
I haven’t been listening to a bunch of podcasts lately (because I’ve been creating my own) but when I come back, I’m looking forward to listening to the Second Life Podcast. Side note … I don’t read non-fiction when I’m writing a new book either.
We can’t talk about November without talking about gratitude.
Rita’s Quilt wins the heart-warming, community building award of the year.
I have a Pinterest board called “baby animals make me smile.” Even though I don’t use Pinterest much, I visit this board because … it makes me smile.
As the temps drop, I’m excited to make my favorite soup. You can find the recipe here with some other vegetarian favs.
And my Instagram fav of the week goes to @theeverygirl for a brilliant November to-do list.
I hope you enjoy this edition of Weekend Favorites and have a beautiful weekend.
xo,
Courtney
