Weekend Wisdom: “Sometimes the truth depends upon a walk around the lake.” – Wallace Stevens
This was a tiny victory.
I cleaned out my silverware drawer. As you may have guessed, there wasn’t a lot to declutter (although I could dump those steak knives) but washing out the drawer was more satisfying than I thought it would be.
With everything that has gone wrong in 2020, I’m in search of the wins, the laughs, little delights and tiny victories. Emptying the drawer, washing it out and sharing this picture made me smile and even if that sounds silly, I’ll accept this tiny victory.
Perhaps my tiny victory will inspire your next tiny victory or simply make you smile.
