Weekend Wisdom: The antidote for comparison is gratitude.
Halloween isn’t my holiday.
I bought a few tiny pumpkins this year, but otherwise I don’t do much to celebrate Halloween. We don’t get trick-or-treaters in our apartment building but if we did, I’d safely give them candy (I’m not a monster). I do love autumn though with its brisk mornings, early nights and invitation to be cozy.
To get all the cozy feelings, I walked through crunchy leaves, sipped on warm herbal tea after dinner, and spent most of last weekend curled up reading. This weekend, I’m finishing this book and starting this one.
Tis the season to seek out extra coziness … starting now.
