If you overdid it during the holidays, or if you are overworked, overextended, or just over it all, this is not the time for guilt or self-pity. This is the time to be kind to yourself. This is the time for action. This is the time for change.
Use your feelings of frustration and discomfort of being over it to motivate a change. Make a change to encourage more health, peace and love in your life. Make a change and do what is best for you.
8 Simple Ways to Change when You are “Over it”
If you overspent, remember you can return that.
If you are overwhelmed with busyness, boycott it.
If you over-ate/over-drank/over-celebrated, take care of yourself.
If you are over never putting yourself first, answer your wake-up call.
If you are over your closet chaos, end it.
If you are over saying yes when your heart says no, learn to say no.
If you are over trying to make everything perfect, embrace your crooked star.
If you are simply feeling like you are over feeling “over it”— over the clutter, debt, drama, and craziness of years gone by, make 2017 different and consider A Simple Year. Based on my simplicity-centered transformation, I created A Simple Year, 12 months of guided simplicity. I invited my friends; 11 thoughtful simplicity advocates and authors to help.
If you’d like to spend 2017 focused on simplifying your life, one change at a time with wonderful teachers, and a supportive community, please join us. Registration is open through January 15th. Learn all about the monthly topics and what to expect from A Simple Year here.
Before you move forward with any of these recommendations, ask yourself what you really need to get over being over it. Then do what’s best for you.
