Weekend Wisdom: You can remove a significant amount of stress from your life simply by reducing the number of items in your wardrobe.

A wardrobe change-up is definitely in the air. I don’t mean buying new things but putting a few summer things away, and pulling out the sweaters and long pants. For the last 16 years, I’ve been enjoying my Project 333 minimalist wardrobe. I don’t miss the days when I felt like I was always shopping and at the same time, wondering why I had nothing to wear.
It’s so much easier and affordable to dress with less. Even though I could mix and match my 33 items into hundreds of different outfits, I am usually wearing the same few outfits over and over again. Sometimes people ask me if I get bored with a tiny wardrobe but the truth is that I got bored with my big wardrobe. That’s why I shopped so often. It always seemed like my stuff needed stuff. Now I keep it simple with my wardrobe … no mess, no stress.
