Weekend wisdom: Paying attention to people you love is 2% effort and 98% not looking at your phone.
I’m speaking (and laughing).
I’m slowly coming back to in person speaking. After the Project 333 book tour was cut short in March 2020 and what unfolded afterwards, I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be traveling again let alone speaking and meeting up with other people in real life. I’ve been so grateful for all of the ways we continue to connect here and in The Simplicity Space membership AND I’m excited to get back to sharing talks that inspire simplicity, especially in the workplace.
For the next little while, I’m going to focus my in person speaking efforts helping businesses alleviate stress for their employees. There is so much stress beyond our control but through simplicity we can clear much of the stress that is within our control. As a result, our health improves, our relationships get better and we experience more satisfaction at work. And when it’s not just you simplifying at work, the whole team begins to respect each other’s time, space and wellness. If you are the person who hires people like me, let’s connect. If you carry too much stress where you work, forward this email to your boss or HR department and I’ll come help.
