Weekend Wisdom: I make time and space for myself, not to get more done, just to have more time and space to be gentle.
Out and about.
I love staying home but this week was more of an out and about week. I took myself on a little work/artist’s date and stopped by one of my favorite local bookstores and ordered a stack of my favorite books to give away. Then I walked across the street and sat at a cafe, ordered a coffee and did a little writing for my new book. The deadline is still months away but I’ve found a good grove so I’ve committed to writing a little bit almost every day. In addition to grocery shopping, I went to a pilates class, met a friend for lunch and tomorrow I’m going to a fun event where there will be coffee and dogs (two of my favs). Stop by and say hi if you are in Salt Lake City. I hope you are having a good week staying home, being out and about or a little of both.
