Weekend Wisdom: Instead of pushing through, try resting through.
I’m growing things.
Even though I’m still enjoying the best parts of winter, I can feel spring calling my name. My plants are growing faster, the light hangs on a little longer each day and I sat outside the other day without completely freezing. Along with the plants, I feel a growth spurt coming on to. I’m growing my curiosity, my noticing and my work. This isn’t a rushed or forced growth. Instead, I’ll be creating space for this growth and taking my cues from nature. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience.”
