Weekend wisdom: Be extra nice to yourself, with your actions and your thoughts.
Looking up.
When I feel stuck creatively or uninspired, I look at things differently. I listen with my eyes closed, look up at the trees and let my mind wander and be curious about things that have nothing to do with what I’m working on. Sometimes, I write in a new place, or a very familiar one. Because I’m so routined, little shifts make a big difference. If you are feeling stuck or uninspired, shake things up or just look at things differently and see if releases you from your rut.
