Weekend wisdom: Going to bed early is how adults sleep in. – Laura Vanderkam
My version of heaven.
Last weekend, I sat in a noisy cafe with the sun beaming in and had a little party … alone. I drank the coffee, read a suspenseful book and wrote some words that had been swirling around. It didn’t take long before the noise of people ordering their breakfast, chatting with each other and stirring their warm beverages turned into a calming hum. I love noticing that moment when my brain takes all of the dings and laughs and clatter and turns it into soothing background music. It’s heavenly.
Ok … onto the favorites.
