Weekend Wisdom: Doing more things doesn’t make you a better person. It makes you a tired person.
Reverse engineering.
It’s “NO”vember. If you are working on creating more space in your life, saying no is important. That said, you can reverse engineer things so you don’t have say “no” so much. Simplify so that there is less to say “no” too. Notice how you are living your life. If you are on auto-pilot and reacting to everything coming your way, life is just a series of yes, no, yes, no or in most cases, yes, yes, yes, I’m overwhelmed now … so no. Instead of just reacting, get intentional about what you want in your life, how you want to move through your day and what you can add or remove to get closer to that. This is not to say that moments won’t arise or even phases of life that pull you away but by becoming intentional now, you’ll have a soft place to land when you come back.
