Weekend Wisdom: We don’t remove clutter, reject busyness and reduce stress to have a simple life. We do it to have a life.
I know we need more than thoughts and prayers but when I don’t have words, I remember the metta meditation of loving kindness. There are many variations and here is one of them.
“May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I be at peace.
May I be free.
–
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you be at peace.
May you be free.
–
May all beings everywhere be happy.
May they be healthy.
May they be at peace.
May they be free.”
