Weekend Wisdom: Our homes aren’t containers for stuff but rather a place for love and connection. Let’s make room for more of that.

Wow, hello April! Where did you come from? 2026 is doing it’s best to rush by, but I am committed to slowing it down. It all starts with my mornings. I wake up early, meditate and then have some leisurely coffee time. I know if I start my day rushing around, I’ll speed through the whole thing.
The other thing that slows my day is staying off social media and doing things that make me forget to check my phone. Reading, writing, and connecting with friends helps me slow my pace and the day.
