Weekend Wisdom: If catching up worked, you’d be caught up by now.
I love a little moment.
Sitting in front of my coffee and planner, I notice how much I love a little moment like this. I am overwhelmed with contentment. The fact that my brioche french toast is being assembled with syrup and berries in the tiny bakery kitchen may contribute to how good I am feeling too. Anticipating the blank page, thinking about the week ahead, happy coffee drinkers, white aprons and trays swishing by and that noisy, quiet café conversation are all part of my moment. It’s all a part of the grounding feeling that I know I am not supposed to be anywhere but here.
Nothing happened and everything happened. I feel most like me, most connected to me and am drenched in appreciation because I remembered to witness my life in this moment.
