One of the sweetest parts of my recent trip was being in Amsterdam on National Tulip Day! I didn’t know it was going on until I was in the square where everyone was picking up tulips for their gardens. Then, all day long as I roamed around the city, people were carrying tulips. Even though it was a cold day, the mood of the city was heart-warming.
