Weekend Wisdom: When you are engaged in the things that light you up, it’s easier to let go of the things that don’t.

After a beautifully relaxing weekend on the Oregon coast, I came home to find my peonies in full bloom. I delivered bouquets to a few of my neighbors and filled vases for my kitchen and living room. They smell so good!
Even though I don’t always buy flowers when food shopping, they are always on my grocery list for a little reminder that (as the song goes) I can buy myself flowers. Never forget that you can add a little joy to your life anytime.
