Weekend Wisdom: The next time you don’t feel well or just don’t feel like you, instead of pushing through, try easing through.
Slowing way down this week.

Every 40 days or so, I spend a few hours getting my multiple sclerosis infusion. Afterwards, I go home, have a small snack and nap and sleep. The next day either feels like a big hangover or I feel pretty good. There’s no way to know, even though I’ve tried to figure it out for many years so I always keep the day open. I could push through but you know how I feel about that. I haven’t had an MS relapse since 2007 and scans of my brain and spine show no disease progression at all. I attribute my success with MS to my incredible medical team (they treat me like a partner), and to the lifestyle changes I’ve made over the years, simplicity being at the top of the list. If you are dealing with a new diagnosis or symptoms that haven’t been explained, this article might help and this one too.
