Done. Went at 4:30 pm came back completely refreshed. I’m a runner (or I was) and really struggle with the whole all or nothing mentality 10 k or nothing. Running has been frustrating to me lately because I can’t seem to carve out the time and when I go I feel so defeated: I’m not as fast as I used to be, I’m not as fast as that person over there. I went for a walk I was on my own time and it felt successful because it was so simple. You don’t even really need to change so there is no excuse. Can’t wait for my walk tommorow!

  5. Courtney, I just paid $ to join a work out group– prepaid for several sessions. Then Thursday morning on my way out the door to the work out, I slipped and SPRAINED my ankle. Back to square one. SO. I’m happy you posted this. As soon as my ankle heals enough for me to walk, I’ll be IN.

Oh, I have to tell you, I mentioned the 333 project to my husband and he walked over to his closet, counted his clothes and said,’I'm already in.’ :)

    • Sorry to hear about your Ankle! Please remind hubs that winter coats, hats, gloves, shoes are all included! (and then remind him to join the FB page! ;)

      • I already joined the facebook page :) Since we live in SoCal the land of eternal sun, we won’t need more than one jacket and no winter shoes. I think he counted his jackets because they were in the same closet. He’s a very minimal guy by nature.

  6. Love the thought that is one just didn’t really over think this wonderfully simple idea they would not have to implement a useless New Years Resolution to lose weight.
Plus drinking more water is the number 1 way to lose weight. And so simple.
    Thanks.

Courtney just wanted to tell you that I’m doing awsome with the 40 – minute walk challenge/change? Sat I went for a swim (read: play) with my daughter and sunday went for a bike ride in the country. I love that I expect nothing more from these 40 minutes than fresh air and the time to myself:) Thanks so much. Looking forward to what next week brings. And I’m getting Born to run from the library.

That’s great Claudine. Friday I will have an update with some fun things to add to your 40 minutes! Have a great week.
