The little black dress will never go out of style. Not because it’s little or black, but because it’s simple. By infusing that simplicity into everything that we wear, we can be happier with less.
Project 333 invites you to …
Spend less time.
You’ve probably complained that there aren’t enough hours in a day. Reclaim your time by spending less of it at the mall and in dressing rooms. Spend your time doing things that you love instead of trying to figure out what you are going to wear each morning.
Spend less money.
Try to track what you’ve spent in the past year on clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories. Even if you are buying inexpensive things, it adds up. A three-month spending fast will put things in perspective. Let your gratitude for what you have diminish your desire for more.
Compare less.
When you commit to three months of dressing with less, you can give yourself permission to stop comparing yourself to anyone else. You are choosing to live (and dress) by your rules. If you can do that, imagine what else you can choose for your life.
Stress less.
Once you’ve created your new wardrobe of 33 you can shift your focus and attention to life on the other side of your closet. Now that you don’t need to spend your time, attention and money on clothing and getting dressed, you have space to determine what is most important to you.
Life is complicated enough. Start a new trend: simple is the new black.
