Weekend Wisdom: I give myself permission to not rush my rest. – Jamila Reddy
It’s all about the plants over here.
Pre-pandemic, I was traveling a couple of times a month and didn’t own any plants except for a small pot of succulents. In the summer of 2020, when I realized it might be awhile before I was moving around the world again, I bought one plant. After a few months another plant found it’s way into my life. Today there are six plants and a tree living in my home.
The shocking part about that is that they are all living, thriving really!
I always said I wasn’t good with plants but that was just a story I was telling myself. It’s a good reminder that when the stories you tell yourself aren’t serving you anymore, start telling different stories.
