Weekend Wisdom: If you are stuck, change the way you change.
Maybe we are doing productivity wrong.
Productivity feels hard because that’s how it’s sold to us. It’s all wrapped up in comparing and competing and mixed in with guilt and shame when we aren’t doing enough or when we feel like doing absolutely nothing. Today’s productivity is packaged with rigidity, discipline, timers, spreadsheets etc.
What I’m slowly discovering though is that productivity can be soft, gentle and nourishing.
My best productivity tips of all time include …
- Rest
- Relax
- Do less
- Enjoy
- Don’t compare
- Work with your energy and interest and not against it
