Weekend Wisdom: When everything is important, nothing is.
I’m grateful for awe.
When I want to be inspired, I go outside. I watch the sun go up or come down. I notice things growing out of the ground. I see the mountains disappear into the water. I stargaze. That’s where the magic is in one form or another, all the time. When I discover that I haven’t been swept away by the magic of nature for awhile, I know I’m likely spending too much time in front of a screen.
That discovery is always an invitation to go for a walk, take a hike or simply look out and up. When I do that, there is a 100% chance I’ll be awestruck.
Being awestruck feels like a delicious mash-up of gratitude, joy, and delight and I’m grateful for it.
