Weekend Wisdom: Get clear on what matters by getting rid of everything that doesn’t.
It’s ok not to be ok.
If 2020 is teaching us anything, it’s that feelings come and go (and come and go and come and go). That means we aren’t going to feel ok all the time and that’s ok. We don’t have to fake smile, or shop it away, or drink it away or even wish it away. We can feel our feelings instead of fixing them.
We can laugh, cry, scream in our pillows and carry on.
We can double down on self care, join a community of like hearted-people, seek therapy and honor our boundaries. What a privilege to have these options and more.
We can take care of each other by taking care of ourselves.
We will be ok again.
